A recent tweet by Reed Duchscher found that brands spending on creator-made marketing has increased significantly compared to past years. @Reedjd is the Founder & CEO of Night Media which manages top YouTubers such as MrBeast, Ryan Trahan and many popular YouTubers.
66% of brands claim to have increased their spending on creator-made marketing content compared to previous years. 48% of brands spend at least $100,000 on creator marketing a year. Only 10% of brands spent over $1 million.
This includes ads on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Most notably, TikTok has made a huge impact on how brands advertise and is one of the main reasons for the surge of investment in creator/influencer marketing.
