LeadCart was a shopping cart software that shut down after earning 100's of thousands in revenue selling "lifetime accounts". Good Morning Marketers previously reported LeadCart SHUTS DOWN People Are Pissed and shortly after we were contacted by Mohammad, the founder of LeadCart to share his side of the story.
Below is an exclusive update to correct some details from last week. LeadCart was launched in 2018 and closed down in January 2022. Mohammad (Digital Think) was an affiliate for LeadCart and he did not process the transaction.
- LeadCart sold 800 to 1000 lifetime licenses ranging
- Prices ranged from $300 to $1000
- Higher tier accounts included "branded workspace" for agencies to sell additional accounts
- In total there were over 2200 accounts on LeadCart
LeadCart was unable to succeed for a variety of reasons. When asked to comment why ThriveCart succeed with a lifetime deal offer and LeadCart didn't, Mohammad responded that it was because LeadCart didn't have an affiliate program.
