HubSpot Wants to Buy, Produce, or License Your Podcast

HubSpot is offering a chance for emerging digital creators and social media influencers to achieve success with their shows.

Through their HubSpot Creators program, HubSpot is looking for creators, specifically podcast hosts, to mentor and support. This includes helping them produce and market their shows through a four-tier method.

This follows after the success of their HubSpot Podcast Network, which is composed of diverse high quality podcasts on the topics of leadership, marketing, sales, startups, and customer success.

Aside from technical assistance and mentorship, HubSpot is paying creators. Selected creators receive monthly payment. However, the program has not specified the rate.

The program is limited to podcast shows, but HubSpot is planning to expand their support to content creators on various platforms such as TikTok and YouTube with similar programs in the future.

With this program, HubSpot aims to establish and maintain partnerships with shows that they believe have the potential of scaling and achieving popularity on social media based on their topics and their production quality.

Maintaining partnerships with shows also includes HubSpot acquiring their license. Shows that do well in terms of monthly downloads will also elevate to a new tier in their four-tier approach. Each tier determines the amount of their support.

With partnerships, this initiative is also a strategic move for HubSpot. By supporting shows, they get to expand their brand’s reach.

Good Morning Marketers, Web Friendly’s podcast, has applied for this program.
