Content Creator Contests, Giveaways and Prizes

Digital course platforms like Podia and Teachable are taking big leaps in recognizing the efforts and triumphs of digital creators.

With fellowships and prizes, they are offering opportunities where creators can earn more with their online courses.

At the start of 2022, Podia’s Creator Fellowship gave away $2,022 to the winning creator. Aside from the cash prize, the winner will receive a coaching session with RadReads CEO and Founder Khe Hy and much more.

Teachable, on the other hand, is rewarding the winner of The Next Big Creator Competition a grand prize of $100,000.

This paves the way for a win-win result for both companies and the contestants. Aside from the profit that the winner will receive, the mechanics of the competition will help promote the companies’ brands, expand their networks, and grow their businesses.

Such is the case of Podia’s fellowship which will choose the winner on the basis of nominations instead of applications. This means that the contestants are only eligible if they are nominated instead of them having to apply.

Podia’s most recent fellowship, which will grant $1000 to the winner, also underscores the importance and impact of fans and followers who will be given the opportunity to nominate their favorite creators. For every nomination, Podia will add $1 to the cash prize.

The fellowship also guarantees that the cash prize will increase once more nominations come in. This will help expand the brand’s reach when digital creators will know when they are nominated.

Teachable takes a different approach by letting digital creators apply for the contest with the requirement of creating courses on their platform. According to their rules, the winner is chosen based on their courses’ single-month earnings from April 1 to September 30, 2022. The creator who earns the most in a single month, wins.

With these cash prizes and recognition, Podia and Teachable are planning to support more digital creators with their businesses and programs.
