Stop Asking People to Subscribe on YouTube

But why would people subscribe if they wouldn't watch every time you upload?

The truth is, there are several things that you need to watch out for.

Most of the time, YouTubers with big followers upload videos that other subscribers did not sign up for. They might have found your channel very interesting upon watching a few of your videos. However, if you don't deliver videos of the same type, they may be irrelevant to them.

So instead of asking the people to subscribe, urge them to watch another video on your channel.

Contrary to the popular belief, it's not the subscribers who are more important but your views because they are those who are actually interested in the content.

The more views you get, the higher the engagement and the more chance you'll get recognized by the YouTube algorithm.

And if your video gets recognized by the YouTube algorithm, it will be recommended to YouTube users who are interested in the same content.
