What happened to IGTV?

Instagram integrated IGTV and Feed videos into a single platform called Instagram Video in 2021. This produced four distinct video forms within the application: Reels, Videos, Stories, and Lives. Then in 2022, Adam Mosseri, the Head of Instagram, committed to streamlining its feed postings even more by turning all videos into Reels.
